Christian County Human Resources is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Auditor for the Auditor’s Office. The Deputy Auditor will support the Auditor in reviewing and approving purchase requests and budgeting functions and perform the functions of the Auditor if the Auditor is unavailable. Duties include but are not limited to: Review and approve requisitions and payment processes; Assist in collection and distribution of budget information; Review and report fund balances; Collect information for annual reports; and Coordinate grant information/applications.
Education / Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Must qualify to be bonded
- Accounting Experience Preferred
The Deputy Auditor must be professional, courteous, detail oriented, have strong computer and keyboarding skills including Tyler Technologies Accounting Software and MS Office skills a plus. This position must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug test and also must reside in Christian County, MO.
