Special Absentee Voter Information
If you would like to vote absentee, you may print the absentee application and fax, mail, or drop off the completed form at the County Clerk ’s office. If you have not voted in Christian County , then we must have a copy of your photo identification before we may process your absentee application. The quickest way to vote is to bring your application to the County Clerk ’s Office for processing and vote that day. If that is not possible, then you may cast your ballot through the mail (Reminder: this requires you to go before a notary for your vote to count!).

Special Note: The law requires notarization on all absentee envelopes. After you receive your absentee ballot, you must complete the back of the absentee envelope excluding the notarization. If you fail to have your ballot envelope notarized, your ballot will NOT count. If you are on the County Clerk ’s disability list, or if you are serving in the Armed Forces with your Federal Post Card Application on file or if you are an overseas voter, then notarization is not required.
Special Note: According to Senate Bill 1014, RSMO, Straight Party Ticket Voting is no longer allowed.
